Sommer Plants in Brooklyn!

Here are some photos of my lone daffodil and a pic of it “planted” in a weird garden at a funeral home on court street in carroll gardens. i ended up going a completely different route than i originally intended!

I used my kitchen tea towel as a muse and then butchered it. the colors are a bit crazy, but i think it looks like a daffodil.

I embroidered the “peace” and “love” on the leaves and the stem is a wooden dowel wrapped in green yarn. i used wire as an armature for the leaves and a few of the petals for shaping. for a last minute project, i was quite pleased with the result, and hope you like it, too! can’t wait to see more pictures of everyone else’s!
